The Everbloom Story
It was a warm summer day in Odenton Maryland, Grandma Virginia, and her granddaughter Meaghen were both working in her backyard garden, teaching her all about diffrent soil types and plants and how to grow her favorite deep red rosebushes with the care and attention that only a grandmother could. Grandma knew the importance of hard work and the beauty of living things with Meagan. They were transplanting great grandmas’s rosebush. Three generations of Meaghen’s family had the “green thumb” and truly embraced a passion for the study of plants. Through that simple act of transplanting one rosebush, Everbloom was born.
Founded on grandma’s birthday in September 2017 , Meaghen King launched Everbloom, a new kind of floral company featuring our signature product Everbloom Classic ; a live hand-cut rose that lasts 5 years. Meaghen was saddened that the beauty of a rose, ended short after they were cut. Ask Meaghen and she will tell you, “A rose is nature true work of art, intricate in detail, and such a simple joy to behold.” But preserving them in their natural state enchanting their natural beauty, and spreading that joy to as many people as possible is why Meaghen started Everbloom back in 2017.
